Pray

Remain in Christ. Align with His purposes.

Watching the world must deepen our dependence on Jesus. Prayer brings our fears, questions, relationships, and daily responsibilities before the Father and teaches us to seek His kingdom.

Begin with communion with God

Make room to read Scripture, pray honestly, confess sin, give thanks, and listen attentively to the Word of God. Bring the concerns of the day into His presence. Our security rests in Christ, and our discernment must be shaped by His character.

A simple rhythm of prayer

Abide

Read John 15:1–11. Ask the Lord to keep you rooted in His love and faithful in the ordinary work He has given you.

Seek wisdom

Read James 1:5 and Philippians 4:4–9. Ask for wisdom, sober judgment, and a mind guarded by the peace of God.

Intercede

Pray for your family, local church, community, those in authority, the persecuted Church, and those who have not heard the gospel. Ask that believers would endure faithfully and love their neighbors.

Yield

Read Matthew 6:9–13. Submit your ambitions and expectations to the Father, asking for His kingdom to come and His will to be done.

Pray with the body of Christ

Join the prayer life of a faithful local church. Seek mature believers who will pray with you, help you understand Scripture, and walk with you in obedience to Jesus. Christian fellowship gives prayer a shared life of encouragement, service, and accountability.

Let prayer lead to faithfulness

Ask the Lord whom you can encourage, serve, forgive, or speak to about Christ today. Discernment bears fruit in lives of trust, obedience, and love.
