Our Story

A continuing calling. A clearer direction.

Babylon Singularity began with a question that still matters: how can Christians understand a rapidly changing world while remaining faithful to Jesus Christ? Peter Herder’s writing and teaching brought biblical prophecy into conversation with artificial intelligence, emerging technology and global developments. The purpose was to help believers examine the times with their Bibles open and their hope fixed on Christ.

Where we began

The original homepage, captured October 21, 2026: “Future-Proof Your Mind,” the Babylon Singularity logo, and the site’s five-part navigation.

The earlier website invited readers to “Future-Proof Your Mind.” Its central sections, The Call, The Crisis, The Hope, The Paradigm and The Coalition, guided visitors from the challenges of the age toward a biblical framework and a shared Christian response.

Articles, videos and podcast conversations explored Daniel and Revelation, Babylon, the Beast and Antichrist, and humanity’s pursuit of technological transcendence. The site brought those questions together in one place and invited Christians to think, study and participate.

How the work has developed

Continuing research has led to more sustained work in two independent book projects: Babylon 2.0: The Final City and Gateway to the Gods and The Techno-Futurist Eschatological Perspective. They develop arguments that deserve careful reading, examination and discussion.

The website’s purpose has also become clearer. Understanding technological change is one part of Christian faithfulness. Believers need a living relationship with Jesus, fellowship in faithful local churches, and practical ways to serve their neighbors and proclaim the gospel. Babylon Singularity aims to help connect that work across the body of Christ.

Why we are relaunching

The relaunch brings that calling into focus through three words: Watch, Pray, Proclaim. Watch brings biblical discernment, research and responsible warning. Pray calls us to remain in Christ and align our lives with His purposes. Proclaim directs us toward gospel witness and making disciples.

The renewed site gives each kind of work a clear home: new articles on Substack, a fresh podcast in preparation, extended studies in the books, and dated source briefs in News & Trends. Resources will help visitors find trustworthy research, churches and ministries as that directory develops.

Growth includes accountability

We distinguish the teaching of Scripture, our interpretation of it, and proposed connections to future technologies or events. These distinctions make examination possible. Supporting evidence and contrary findings both belong in the record, and a claim that proves mistaken should be corrected openly.

Our Predictions & Accountability register provides a place to state hypotheses, identify review criteria and retain a dated record. The aim is to serve the Church with work that can be tested, improved and corrected.

What happens to the earlier work?

The earlier blog and podcast collections are preserved in a private archive. Selected material may return after review and revision. Where earlier work is republished, its original context and any substantial updates should be made clear.

This page preserves the story of that earlier chapter. The renewed site carries the work forward with a clearer mission and a continuing willingness to learn.

The calling continues

Jesus Christ remains our confidence. We want this work to help Christians recognize deception, deepen their life in Him, and bear faithful witness to the gospel. We welcome researchers, pastors, technologists and ministry workers who share that desire to serve.
